Rotary Club of San Francisco
President Frank Yoke called the meeting via Zoom to order at 4:11 p.m. on May 26, 2026. Secretary Dora Dye recorded the minutes. In attendance were Ann Daugherty, Dora Dye, Bob Hermann, Tim Hornbecker, Margaret Miley, Hana Xu Wang, Ozan Yasavur, and President Frank Yoke, constituting a quorum. President Frank welcomed our guests: Sunny Singh, District Governor Mitone Griffiths, and District Governor-Elect YuHui Chen. Absent were Gary Dales, Stephen Geisheker, Stellie Kim, Maureen O’Shea, Wendy Shew, and Darlene Wilson.
Approval of Board Minutes
The Board approved with one abstention the April 28, 2026 meeting minutes.
Treasurer’s Report
President Frank gave an overview of the Club’s financial status. He said that both the 2026 Bike Build and Emergency Services Day resulted in black ink and that he was continuing to try and collect all past membership dues.
The Board tabled the Treasurer’s Report until the next meeting when Treasurer Gary Dales will be present.
Resolution for 2026-2027 Signatories
The Board approved the resolution to authorize Gary Dales and Ozan Yasavur to operate the Club’s bank accounts with Wells Fargo Bank in Rotary year 2026-2027.
Membership
The Board approved Andres Emmanuelli, Erica Hernandez, and Diane Wustrack for individual membership.
2026-2027 Proposed Grants
President-Elect Ozan discussed the email that he had Club Secretary Dora Dye send out to Board members on May 7, 2026. In that email were details of the 2026-2027 grants process and a Google folder containing the applications received and the review process itself.
The Board approved the recommended Grants by the Grants Committee. The recommended Grants will now proceed to the San Francisco Rotary Foundation for consideration.
2026 Board Retreat
President-Elect Ozan Yasavur talked about the Board Retreat to be held on June 6, 2026.
2026 Pride Parade Sponsorship
President Frank had polled the Board about donating $500 to sponsor the parade. The donation was approved. Past President Jim Patrick has agreed to host the after-parade party.
Joint Meeting with the Rotary Club of Oakland
President Frank gave a report on the joint meeting with the Rotary Club of Oakland on May 21, 2026.
Rotary Club of Assisi
President Frank agreed to provide more information to the Board at the next Board meeting regarding the proposal by the Rotary Club of Assisi.

The Trustees approved the resolution to authorize Gary Dales and Ozan Yasavur to operate this organization’s bank accounts with Wells Fargo Bank in Rotary year 2026-2027. The Trustee also authorized JT Forbus to operate the RYLA Checking account with Wells Fargo Bank in Rotary year 2026-2027.
