Our Club completed two community service projects in August 2023. The first project was on August 26, 2023 when two members of our Club (Emily Borland and Victoria Lozano), two Visiting Rotarians, two non-Rotarians, and one RYLA alumna assembled and packaged food for distribution at the San Francisco-Marin Food Bank. Emily even brought her older son for the experience. In 2.5 hours, this group of eight packed 1,100 bags of produce that equaled 26,400 pounds.Then, on August 30, 2023, 10 volunteers (Rhonda Poppen, Robin Azevedo, Lisa Stark, Hana Xu Wang, Carrie Schucker, Jim Patrick, Bill Gregory, Jo Patrick and two friends) assembled diaper bags to give away to homeless or housing insecure families in San Francisco and stuffed invitations to the Homeless Prenatal Program's Annual Luncheon.
