President Frank Yoke led an exceptional 2025-2026 Rotary year, from engaging weekly luncheons and lively evening meetings to a full calendar of social gatherings and the continued growth of our local and international service efforts. To celebrate his outstanding leadership and contributions, President-Elect Nominee Alisha Marfatia, Robert Hunter, Ann Daugherty, and Maureen O'Shea organized a dinner held on Friday, June 26, 2026 in the Crystal Ballroom at the Marines' Memorial Club & Hotel.
Over 50 guests gathered to celebrate President Frank. The guests included Rotarians from our Club, Rotarians from other Rotary clubs, Scouters, and Scouts. PN Alisha served as emcee and began the evening with a warm welcome.

Next was the presentation of the colors by Scout Troop 3 from San Francisco Chinatown. The audience then enjoyed a delicious dinner, and there was lively conversation at each table.

After dinner, PN Alisha introduced Visiting Rotarian Linda Parker Hamilton from the Rotary Club of Oakland who presented Turn the Wheel, a historical account that was engaging and informative on the creation of the Rotary Club of Oakland with the help of the Rotary Club of San Francisco and the relationship between the two clubs over the years.

Past President and Scouter David Dye presented to President Frank a walking stick that he (David) had carved. David shared the history of this stick as well as his history with Frank in both scouting and Rotary.

The next presenter was the Past President of the International Fellowship of Scouting Rotarians and PDG Brian Thiessen from Rotary District 5170 who presented the Cliff Dochterman award to President Frank. The Cliff Dochterman Award honors an individual Rotarian who acts as a role model and renders distinguished and dedicated service to Scouting through active service, leadership or other exemplary contributions to scouting. This Award is named in honor of distinguished Rotarian, former Rotary International President, and dedicated Scouter Cliff Dochterman of Moraga, California. The values expressed in Rotary International's Motto and the Four-Way Test greatly parallel those articulated in the Scout Oath, Law, Motto, and Slogan.

Scouter Derrick Quon stepped forward to commend President Frank for starting a new scouting unit and continued support to the scouting program. President Frank concluded the dinner with words of deep gratitude to all and recognitions to members of the 2025-2026 Board members who attended the dinner.
