Tonight's Visiting Rotarian was Lucy Malcolm from the Rotary Club of Hayward Area in Wisconsin. This evening's guests were Peter Carlstrom, Eric Sleigh, and Samantha Thayler.

Today in History
Let's Grow Our Fellowship
President Ozan shared how our last Club survey revealed that more than half of the membership wanted more fellowship. Tonight during dinner, each Table came up with at least one idea to increase fellowship and then shared the idea(s) with the audience.
Tables 1 and 2 led by Past President and Past District 5150 Governor Peter Lagarias (Law: Franchise | Retired) and Dan Joraanstad (Financial Services: Advising | Retired) recommended the following:
- once a quarter high-end dining experience open to all members and guests.
- partnership with the Catalina Rotary Club Tucson to support a bilingual history book, a teacher resource center, art workshops, and other endeavors.
Table 3 led by Vice President of PR and Communications Thomas Estruth recommended the following:
- a weekly "Standing Event" such as Coffee, Movie, or Happy Hour that Rotarians can attend.
Table 4 led by Rachel Donovan (Engineering: Civil | California Department of Transportation) recommended the following:
- leveraging the knowledge of fine wines that Sherri Ferris (International Protocol | Heidi Kühn Global Peace Foundation) has and planning a wine tasting trip to Napa Valley combined with the Arts.
Table 5 led by Lisa Stark (Communications & Media) recommended the following:
- a Golden State Valkyries' game.
