President Bob Hermann, Jr. (Information Technology: Administration | Retired) called the meeting to order at 12:25 PM on May 6, 2025 and welcomed everyone attending in person or on Zoom. The Club observed a moment of silence in memory of Pope Francis who had died on April 21, 2025.
A Big Thank You
President Bob expressed his gratitude for all of the get-well cards, flowers, and well wishes that he had received after his recent hip replacement surgery. He pointed out that he has recovered well as evidenced by his participation at the recent Bike Build.

Come and learn about the Enrichment Center of the Institute on Aging. The Enrichment Center offers social, cognitive, and physical activities for individuals living with dementia, allowing them to remain engaged and connected to the community while providing their caregivers with a much-needed break. After this tour, you can take a short 3-minute walk over to Presidio Bowl for our Club Social that same evening at 6 PM.

The annual District Conference where clubs in the District come together to celebrate the year's accomplishments under the leadership of District Governor Steve Wright will be held on May 16-18, 2025 in Santa Rosa, California. Among the traditional events will be Rotary Club Excellence awards and the traditional Governors’ “Passing of the Pick”! All members are encouraged to attend.
Join us for a reflective Walk for Peace in the towering redwoods of Muir Woods to mark the 80th anniversary of the founding of the United Nations. Speakers include Heidi Kühn and a representative from the National Park Service.

Come and enjoy nature, fresh air, and fellowship as we do some gardening to improve and enhance Rotary Meadow - a garden of native plants our Club planted at the summit of Mount Sutro in 2004. Participation is limited to a maximum of 20 people. Advanced registration is required.
